The Oklahoma Self Defense Act Safety Course is the class for your Oklahoma Concealed/Open Carry License
The Oklahoma Self Defense Act Safety Course is the first step in obtaining your Oklahoma Handgun License. When you take the SDA class at H&H you will able to proceed with the OSBI’s application process. The H&H Shooting Sports firearm instructors are well seasoned, experienced instructors from all shooting backgrounds who have trained firearm enthusiasts all over the world. They are skilled at bringing out the best talents from experienced shooters and they are understanding and compassionate when teaching beginners. Our trainers take pride in their ability to deliver safe, professional firearm education while making the class an enjoyable experience.
The Oklahoma Self Defense Act Safety Course class is required to obtain a license in the State of Oklahoma to legally conceal or open carry a firearm for self-defense. The class requires eight hours of instruction on Title 21, Oklahoma Law and safe handling of a firearm. At the conclusion of the class, you will receive the signed certificate of completion needed to apply for a Oklahoma Handgun License. The Oklahoma Self Defense Act (SDA) Class covers training on Oklahoma Law, deadly force issues, safety, shooting fundamentals, handgun operation, and a live fire shooting portion.
We would like to remind you that the conceal carry class is not a beginners class, if you are a beginner please look at taking a basic handgun safety course first!
