17 YEAR OLD OKLAHOMA GIRL MAY BE THE FIRST FEMALE ARCHER TO WIN BIG IN LAS VEGAS!!!

We would like to congratulate Brogan Williams on her success in Las Vegas. 

Brogan Williams ,a 17 year old Jr at Stillwater High School, Won the Young Adult Female Freestyle Compound Class at the World Archery Shoot “The Vegas Shoot”, in Las Vegas on Saturday, 2/9/13.  She was presented her first place trophy by Brady Ellison (2012 Silver Medalist – US Olympic Archery team member).  Brogan was one of 21 girls in her division.  She has been competing in Compound archery since she was 13 years old.  This was her second year to attend the international shoot “The Vegas Shoot”.  She has been very busy over the last two years winning numerous in state Archery contest and was one of a 4 member Compound Archery team that went to Nationals with the Oklahoma 4H shooting sports.  She was the top female shooter in Compound Archery at 4H Nationals, at which the team took 4th place in the Field competition.  She has set several Oklahoma State Archery Association state records.  Winning First at Vegas is one of several big goals that Brogan has set for herself in 2013.  She was also ranked 3rd in the nation in JOAD in her division for 2012.  Brogan has amassed a large collection of trophies, plaques and medals for her many accomplishments.  She is now registered for upcoming events to continue her climb and her 2013 goals to be selected for the USA archery Jr team for 2014 and travel not only in the US but internationally representing the United States.
