Basic Safety Rules
Treat all guns as if they were loaded.
Keep your finger off the trigger until the gun is pointed down range and ready to fire.
Be sure of your target and what lies beyond.
Always wear hearing and eye protection.
Range Rules, Regulations, and Waiver of Liability and Claims

1.Guns & Targets Brought into the Range:

All firearms brought into the range must be completely UNLOADED, unless you are a conceal carry permit holder. All ammunition will be inspected Targets must meet the minimum range requirements (10.5×12).

2. Range Officer:

a. The Range Officer on duty is in direct charge of the range at all times.

b. The Range Officer will ban from the range any person handling a firearm in an unsafe or careless manner. The Range Officer may also void this person’s membership.

3. Firing Line Procedure:

a. Only one loaded gun at a time. No other gun handling behind the firing line.

b. Make sure your ear and eye protection is on befor entering the range. take position at the lane assigned to you. Do not change lanes.

c. The MUZZLE MUST BE POINTED DOWN RANGE AT ALL TIMES.

d. No rapid firing is allowed. Two-second rule is in effect (2 seconds between rounds). Rifle calibers only.

e. Targets MUST be set at a full distance before shooting. Rifle calibers only.

f. Shooter must load and unload their own firearms. If a mechanical malfunction occurs, check in with the Range Officer.

g. Only line of sight firing is permitted. (No drawing from the hip or holster). Keep your finger off the trigger until on target.

h. When leaving the firing line temporarily, lay the firearm with the muzzle down range and the action open.

i. When you are completely finished and want to leave, unload firearm(s) with the action opened, unless it is cased.

j. Cease Firing means…STOP shooting and step back from lane.

k. DO NOT remove jammed or malfunctioning firearms away from the lane; contact the Range Officer immediately!

4. Vandalism:

Any person seen firing at lights, baffles, carriers or any other range property or equipment will have their membership suspended and will be reported to the proper authorities for appropriate action. Firing at boxes, cups, or other objects is prohibited. Only targets authorized by the Range Officer will be permitted. You will be held accountable and may have to pay for any damage you cause.

5. Firearms Permitted:

a. Centerfire rifles on the Rifle Range ONLY.

b. Rifle ammunition faster than 3400 fps not allowed. check with Range Officer for specific calibers.

c. Most handguns except those chambered for centerfire rifle ammunition above 2,000 fps are permitted on the Pistol Range.

d. Full automatic firearms are allowed

e. Black powder muzzle loading firearms are permitted on the Rifle Range.

f. Shotguns are allowed at the discretion of the Range Officer.

g. All air guns and BB guns allowed on the Air gun Range only.

h. Any firearms not mentioned here, check with the Range Officer before using them on the range.

6. Ammunition Permitted:

a. Standard commercial and reloaded ammunition is permitted.

b. Any type ammunition designed for penetrating metal is not permitted.

c. NO STEEL JACKETED, STEEL SHOT OR STEEL CORE BULLETS permitted.

d. NO TRACER, INCENDIARY, GAS OR EXPLOSIVE AMMUNITION permitted.

7. Firing Line Occupants:

a. All person using the facilities will be of good character. Appropriate dress is required at all times. Please remember we are a family oriented facility. (We have the right to refuse service to anyone. Anyone who has the smell of marijuana, or has alcohol on their breath, or who appears impaired will be invited to leave the facility).

b. All persons utilizing the range are required to receive, understand and sign the rules, regulations and disclaimer notice.

c. For Handguns, a responsible adult must accompany person under twenty-one (21) years of age. This adult shall act as a coach and MUST remain with the minor at all times while the minor is utilizing the range.

d. NO FOOD, DRINK, CHEWING TOBACCO, SNUFF, OR SMOKING ON THE RANGE.

e. Only one shooter or coach permitted per point, only one un-cased firearm permitted at the firing lane.

f. Persons not shooting or coaching are not permitted on the range. (We have provided a viewing area for this).

g. No one permitted forward of the firing line or beyond the carpet area. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

h. Any equipment or other personal items in a shooting point left unattended is at the owner’s risk.

8. Brass Retrieval:

a. All range brass is to be pushed forward off the carpet.

b. DO NOT go down the range to retrieve your brass.

9. Eye Protection:

a. All persons on the range MUST wear eye protection. Available for purchase if you do not bring your own.

10. Ear Protection:

a. All persons on the range MUST wear ear protection. Available for purchase if you do not bring your own.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask the range officer about anything you are not sure of. We will be happy to help you in any way we can.

Help us keep this range safe. Please abide by the rules and report anyone you see not obeying the rules to the range officer. After all, it is your safety we are concerned about.

Waiver of Liability and Claims
I, my agents, assigns, executors or administrators for the consideration of being allowed to enter, rent and or use the facilities, and services of H&H Shooting Sports do hereby absolutely and unequivocally agree to release and hold harmless H&H Shooting Sports , its agents, employees, instructors, assigns, owners and successors from any & all claims, demand or liability, arising out of any injury loss or disability connected with the use of, attendance or activities at the facility. I further understand that shooting can be dangerous and will at all times exercise safe gun handling practices.
I have read, understand and fully agree to all of the above.

Archery Range Rules & Regulations

In order to ensure your safety and the safety of others on and near the range, please respect the following rules at all times while on the H&H Archery Range.

No sky drawing, or drawing the bow-string back while holding the bow upwards.

Absolutely no broad heads are allowed. Practice field tips ONLY

NEVER aim or shoot at or towards another shooter.

ALWAYS clear range for other possible shooters BEFORE retrieving your arrows.

Do not jump or climb on the targets to retrieve arrows. If you cannot reach an arrow, please ask an H&H Team member for assistance.

Avoid shooting walls, floors, ceiling, lights, etc.

All shooters under the age of 15 should be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.

Treat all rental bows with respect. Do not intentionally damage or misuse a rental bow in any way.

The range is for archery purposes only. Any inappropriate activity that risks the safety of anyone present will not be tolerated.

Waiver Of Liability
