Description

In addition to learning the parts function, takedown, cleaning and zeroing, at the end of the class we will go to the 30-yard rifle range here at H&H and work on a 25 meter zero. If possible, I will help each student set their rifle up the way they would like it. If the students wish to have the rifle worked on by a gunsmith here at H&H, that can be arranged at an additional cost.
This is a very basic 4-hour class and is equivalent to the AR familiarization class given to police officers. It is worth 4 CEUs of CLEET credit for Law Enforcement Officers and a certificate will be given to each student completing the class.
Cost: $100 per student. H&H has all required equipment available for rent or sale. Please come early if you need to purchase or rent equipment or ammo.

What is needed for this class:

You will need an AR Rifle (H&H Shooting Sports has ARs for rent but the supply is limited), one to three magazines, and a cleaning kit. To zero your rifle, you will need up to 30 rounds of ammunition for iron sights. If you have a reflex, holographic, or a 1-4, 1-6, 1-8 power scope, it will take an additional 30 rounds of ammunition.
