The Hugs Project

Have you heard about The HUGS Project? Their mission is to place a “Hug” (neckcooler) around the neck of every American military member serving in the middle east. This is a nationwide ongoing project that was started in June of 2004 by Karen and Ray Stark of Edmond Oklahoma.

They want our troops to know that they are fully supported and that they are not forgotten. The Hugs Project is a group of men, women, boys, and girls who are dedicated to sewing and sending evaporative head and neck coolers to our troops in the sandbox. Colling ties are simple to make but the benefits are dramatic. THey can lower the body core temperature by 5+ degrees.
